Protecting your private information is our priority. This Statement of Privacy (the “Privacy Policy”) governs data collection and usage and explains how Grizzlies Youth Basketball and Memphis Basketball, LLC (collectively, “Memphis Basketball”) collects, uses and shares information about you through (i) our online interfaces (i.e. websites and mobile applications) owned and controlled by Memphis Basketball, including https://grizzkidzclub.com/ and associated other content offerings, (collectively referred to herein as the “Site”); and (ii) interactions with you (the “user”) and through products, services, events and programs offered through Memphis Basketball (the “Services”).

Please note that this Privacy Policy applies to the Site. By using the Site, you consent to the data practices described in this statement. Please read the following to learn more about how we collect, use and safeguard the information you may provide to us via the Site.

Collection of your Personal Information

In order to better provide you with products and Services offered on our Site, we may collect personally identifiable information, such as:

  • User contact information including first and last name, mailing address, e-mail address, phone number;
  • Communications you may send to us, such as customer service inquiries, product reviews and other feedback regarding the Services;
  • User employer and user job title;
  • User login information and credentials;

We do not sell, rent or lease its customer lists to third parties.

We may, from time to time, contact you on behalf of external business partners about a particular offering that may be of interest to you. In those cases, your unique personally identifiable information (e-mail, name, address, telephone number) is transferred to the third party. We may share data with trusted partners to help perform statistical analysis, send you email or postal mail, provide customer support, or arrange for deliveries. All such third parties are prohibited from using your individual identifying personal information except to provide these services to Memphis Basketball and they are required to maintain the confidentiality of your information.

We may disclose your personal information, without notice, if required to do so by law or in the good faith belief that such action is necessary to: (a) conform to the edicts of the law or comply with legal process served on FedExForum or the Site; (b) protect and defend the rights or property of Memphis Basketball; and/or (c) act under exigent circumstances to protect the personal safety of users of the Site or the public.

Tracking User Behavior

We may keep track of the websites and pages our users visit within the Site, in order to determine which Services are the most popular. This data is used to deliver customized content and advertising within the Site to customers whose behavior indicates that they are interested in a particular subject area. Sometimes, we may work with third parties (for example, third party operators of the Services) to synchronize our unique, anonymous identifiers with the third party’s own identifiers.

Memphis Basketball secures your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Memphis Basketball use the following methods for this purpose:

We strive to take appropriate security measures to protect against unauthorized access to or alteration of your personal information. As a result, while we strive to protect your personal information, you acknowledge that: (a) there are security and privacy limitations inherent to the Internet which are beyond our control; and (b) security, integrity, and privacy of any and all information and data exchanged between you and us through this Site cannot be guaranteed.

Children Under Thirteen

Types of Personal Information Collected, and How it Will be Used. This website may collect the following types of personal information from children under thirteen:

  • Participant’s name and age
  • Parent/Guardian’s name, phone number and email address
  • Participant’s emergency contact information, including name and phone number
  • Payment information: CC/debit card number, expiration date, billing address; please note that payments are processed immediately and credit card information is not collected/stored

This information will be used to complete Grizzlies Youth Basketball camp and clinic registrations, in addition to tournament and competition sign ups.

How Personal Information is Collected. We collect personal information through the following ways:

  • Via online Grizzlies Youth Basketball camp and clinic registration forms
  • Via Google Analytics, which includes IP address and ClientID 1st-Party cookie tags

Disclosure of Personal Information to Third Parties. We do not disclose personal information collected from children under thirteen to certain third parties. Parental Rights. We will not require any child under the age of thirteen to disclose more information than is reasonably necessary to participate in any activity hosted or organized by this website. Any parent may review their child’s personal information, request us to delete it, and refuse to allow any further collection or use of their child’s information. In addition, any parent may agree to the collection and use of their child’s personal information, but not allow disclosure to third parties unless it is a part of the service being promoted (for example, social networking). Opt-Out & Unsubscribe

We respect your privacy and give you an opportunity to opt-out of receiving announcements of certain information. If you receive promotional messages from us and would like to opt out, you may do so by following instructions within those messages. Please note that these preferences do not apply to informational or transactional communications regarding the Services or other communications that have their own unsubscribe method.

Please note that because the data used for interest-based advertising is also used for other necessary purposes, opting out of interest-based advertising does not stop the data from being collected nor reduce the number of advertisements you may see.

E-mail Communications

From time to time, we may contact you via email for the purpose of providing announcements, promotional offers, alerts, confirmations, surveys, and/or other general communication. We may store your data on servers provided by third party hosting vendors with whom we have contracted. We retain personal data for as long as necessary to provide the Services and fulfill the transactions you have requested, or for other necessary purposes such as complying with our legal obligations, resolving disputes and enforcing our agreements. In accordance with the California Consumer Privacy Act (“CCPA”), California residents have the right to request that we disclose the following information about our collection and use of personal information over the twelve months prior to your request:

Memphis Basketball adheres to pertinent data protection laws in the European Union. In accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), users who are located in the European Union have the following rights.

  • The right to request from Memphis Basketball a “data controller” as defined under the GDPR, access to and rectification of your personal data.

We reserve the right to change this Privacy Policy from time to time.
